As I set out to build my company, I knew I wanted a symbol that would represent our values and spirit. After much consideration, I landed on an unexpected choice: the capybara. You might be wondering, why on earth would I choose a giant rodent to symbolize my company? Let me tell you.
A Personal Connection
As an Argentine, I have a special connection to the capybara. These incredible creatures are native to my home country, where they roam the grasslands, wetlands, and even the city. Growing up, I was fascinated by their unique appearance and abilities. Now, I'm proud to have them represent my company.
Unconventional and Unique
Just like the capybara, our company is not afraid to be different. We embrace the unconventional and provoke lateral thinking. The capybara's unusual shape, cross of a pig and a rodent, and amphibious abilities make it a perfect representation of our commitment to innovation and creativity.
Adaptable and Resilient
Capybaras are incredibly adaptable creatures, thriving in a variety of environments and circumstances. Similarly, I picture our company to be built to be agile and resilient, navigating challenges with ease and finding opportunities in unexpected places.
Social and Community-Oriented
Capybaras are highly social animals, living in large groups and relying on each other for survival. Our company values community and teamwork, recognizing that our collective strength is far greater than individual talents.
Curious and Playful
Capybaras are known for their curious nature and playful antics, reminding us to approach challenges with a sense of wonder and joy. We believe that work should be enjoyable, and that a little bit of playfulness can go a long way in driving innovation and success.
The capybara may not be the most obvious choice for a company symbol, but it perfectly captures the essence of our values and spirit. As an Argentine, I'm proud to have a piece of my heritage represented in our brand. And as we move forward, we'll be using the Business Design Framework as an essential tool to enable alignment and co-design between people of different backgrounds and skillsets, pursuing a common goal. With this framework, we'll harness the power of diverse perspectives and expertise to drive innovation, creativity, and success – just like the capybara's remarkable ability to thrive in diverse environments.
